3 Day Diet

The 3-Day Diet focuses on mixing certain types of foods that supposedly create a specific metabolic reaction in your body. The chemicals are supposed to boost your metabolism and help you burn fat at a higher rate than usual. The diet only lasts for 3 days and should only be repeated after taking four to five days off. The specific portions need to be followed by the book, or you may not achieve the results that the creators of the diet claim are possible.

New Weight Loss Survey: Why Dieters Fail To Lose Weight

The current high levels of obesity have made weight control a major health priority throughout North America. At the same time, statistics show that average weight loss for dieters on conventional diets amounts to a mere 5-8 pounds per annum. Why is dieting so difficult? According to a new survey (1), there are three reasons. We don’t have a sufficiently powerful incentive; we let ourselves go hungry; and we don’t deal effectively with “bad days”.The new weight loss survey asked dieters to identify the three biggest obstacles they faced when following a calorie-controlled eating plan. The most popular replies were:- Inadequate incentive to lose weight (75 percent)
- Hunger (70 percent)
- Bad days (69 percent)
Let’s look at what causes these diet problems, and how we can overcome them.

·         Pick one place at home and work that you will do all your eating. Be sure you are seated. Don’t eat anywhere but in that place. Enjoy your food by sitting down and eating slowly. Sitting down focuses your attention more directly on the activity of eating. By eating in the same place you identify and associate that place with the idea that it is the only area in which you should eat.

 ·         Shop for Groceries only after eating. You will be less likely to buy foods impulsively – especially foods you don’t need.

 ·         When you shop for groceries stick to your shopping list. This helps you guard against impulse buying. Make sure you list is complete and do not buy any extra food items.

Lose Weight Fast - Six Sensible Tips for Long Term Weight Loss

1. Drink water

Water is quite possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off longer term.Water acts as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration which can lead to false cravings/hunger.Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don’t drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body’s temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week.

2. Eat regularly

This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast.Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day. When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don’t over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control!
